BULLS AND HORSES IN ENTRY SEGORBE. (LLARDEMPAR)

The first week of the fortnight holiday is dedicated to hosting numerous events, among which the presentations of the Queens of the Festival, the traditional and popular Offering to Our Lady of the Holy Cave, the pilgrimage to the shrine of Our . Señora de la Esperanza, magnificent firework displays, the solemn processions, the competition and national art exhibition "José Camarón", etc. Moreover, citizens and visitors to our city, can enjoy these days of young music concerts, folk and classical forms of traditional, various exhibitions, sports competitions, etc..
Special mention should be the second week holiday. Seven days on which the party is more popular than ever and are concentrated in the thousands to witness one of the most spectacular of which can be enjoyed in this land: The Traditional Input Bulls and Horses, declared Festival International Tourist Interest. Every day, punctually at two o'clock, a group of riders on horseback accompany the bulls in a career that barely lasted two minutes and Columbus Street crossing of the city, to finish at the bullring. A journey without further barrier used to build the thousands of attendees who, day after day, moving to our city. The Fiesta joins the evening through the night and the night the day, the entry with the heifers and those with the festivals, welcoming visitors into a magical and captivating.
The popular and known input Segorbe Bulls and Horses, whose first documentary evidence dates back to s. XIV retain all the peculiarities that its creators knew you print. Especially, referring to the excitement and risk involved in this magnificent spectacle in the herd of bulls is clothed and guided through the Columbus street by a dozen clever and brave riders.
This spectacular festival, first declared Tourist Interest in December 1985, and later, on December 9th, 2005 was declared a Fiesta of International Tourist Interest. Held during the second week of September, Monday to Sunday and two in the afternoon. Witnessing a crowd of people, forming a wall along stereotyped and width of the route, making these days the capital of the Alto Palencia, in a city increasingly visited by tourists and fans of bull.
::: TRIA DE LOS TOROS
The festive activity begins around noon on Paseo de Sopena, from whose vantage points is the broad valley formed by the river Palancia, and where the shepherds made the typical rite of "Tria" to decouple the large circle, the herd of bulls who run the "Entrance".
::: UP FOR THE RIAL
The ascent cattle on the way of the rial, which is silently witnessed by hundreds of people stationed at the sides of the road, is a kind of prelude to the "Input", although that increase the herd is not sheltered by any horse.
::: THE MEETING
At two o'clock, with the roar of the case, begins "posted" on the streets of Ar. It is in the Plaza of the inn, where horses and riders gather with skill and daring of the bulls, in a picture known as "the meeting", to then start the race in perfect harmony.
::: THE RACE
The massive and popular "Entrance of Bulls and Horses" Segorbe, runs through a rrecorrido of about 500 m., with an approximate duration of one minute, mainly along Colon Street, occupied it for a public mass opens and closes, creating a screening hall and fearless of bulls and riders.
::: PARADE OF HORSES
But the public street, and has seen the "Entry" from the various balconies and verandas, and looks do not leave the rhythmic joyful parade of horsemen, Colon Street is now up to reward a day of perfection "Entrance", the art of leading plausible cattle, their courage and mettle.
