Since its opening on September 19, 1999, the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo has become an emblematic. A commitment to the sport that places the Region as a reference point in the world of motor.
Throughout its history it has received numerous awards that place it among the best tracks on the current scene. Has been awarded in different occasions as the best organization in the most important competitions of the motor: three World Championship prize (IRTA Best Grand Prix in 2003, 2004 and 2006), two in the organization of the World Superbike Championship (2000 and 2006) and one for Best Truck Grand Prix in 2001.
A circuit within a stadium reflects the design of the circuit, so that viewers provide full development of the tests. From the 65,000 grandstand seats around the track is observed, a quality that can follow the races without losing detail of what happens on the track.
The demanding track and the excellent facilities have made to the circuit in a hub motor, between events, training and miscellaneous, and reaches 95% occupancy during the year. Spain is the only evidence that hosts the two world motorcycling: Superbike and MotoGP, exclusivity shared with Assen (Netherlands), Phillip Island (Australia) and Losail (Qatar). Besides the Formula 1 teams conduct their training in preparation for the season Cheste.

Thus, the circuit is beyond the scope of the competition to become an entertainment area for fans. This initiative has brought the circuit to the Valencian society, which considers the site as a recreational area in a group with a wide range of activities, both to watch and to participate.
Sports Promotion
The construction of the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo not only meets the demands of the biker Valencia. The Government has set up a sports project with the aim of training young drivers. The Cradle of Champions Bancaja motorcycle and Profiltek Karting School is the first opportunity for children to bike and competing in karts. Completed the learning process in different categories, vehicles and competitions, the pyramid is completed by the presence of drivers in the teams Valencia World Championship, where Hector Faubel, Sergio Gadea, Hector Barbera, Nico Terol, Adrian Martin ... all raised in this project. Also, auto racing, cars are already uploaded Adrian Valles, Felix Porteiro, Borja Garcia, Sergio Hernandez, Marco Barba, Roberto Merhi and Alvaro Barba. All pursue the wake of Fernando Alonso, who was linked to the Circuit for two years in the training process. All are candidates to get one of the objectives that it set the Generalitat with this school: a driver in Formula 1 Valencia.
